Behind the brand.

After 10 years working as a fashion photographer, I decided to create a brand focused on sustainability and minimal design. I’m Jan, and throughout my career collaborating with exclusive fashion pieces, I recognized three important gaps in the market: men have a limited selection of well-designed leather bags and accessories, there is a growing need for more sustainable practices in the production of leather goods.

Driven by these observations, I set out to create a brand that combines timeless minimalism, responsible craftsmanship, and premium quality at a more conscious and approachable level.

Craftmanship.

From the meticulous creation of each bag and accessory, every step is carefully curated and expertly handcrafted. Our skilled artisans have been dedicated members of the leather industry since 1987, with their experience reflected in every tailor-made piece.

Made in Spain.

Every stage of our process, from initial design to final production takes place in Barcelona, Spain. By keeping our operations local, we minimize environmental impact and maintain exceptional quality standards.

Spain is renowned in the fashion industry for its craftsmanship and expertise in leatherwork. That’s why having access to such premium local materials is essential to what we do.

Packaging.

We pay attention to even the smallest details, that’s why our packaging is such an important part of the experience. From the moment you unbox one of our bags, we strive to deliver the highest possible quality and a truly exceptional experience.

Our packaging receives the same level of care and craftsmanship as our bags. Each box is designed and handmade in Barcelona to ensure both elegance and durability, allowing you to store and protect your bag when it's not in use.

Sustainability.

One of the core reasons why Bon Noi was created is to offer a cruelty-free alternative to traditional leather accessories. That’s why all our products are crafted using innovative cactus leather, a sustainable and ethical material.

  • Dry and long lasting.

Cactus requires just 200 liters of water to produce one kilogram of raw material , compared to the 1,000 liters many other plants need. As a perennial, it only needs to be planted once and can live for up to 8 years. It thrives on rainwater and naturally available minerals, eliminating the need for irrigation systems.

Throughout its growth, no chemicals such as herbicides or pesticides are used, making it as pure and natural as it gets.

  • Night breather.

Thanks to its water-retaining metabolism, this plant remains inactive during the day, unlike most plants that generate chlorophyll in sunlight. Instead, it absorbs CO₂ at night, releasing oxygen while drawing moisture from the atmosphere.

  • Circularity.

Any unused organic cactus material is repurposed and sold within the national food industry. The cactus itself remains unharmed, allowing for repeated harvesting from the same plant over time.
